Cardini The Book

Postby Allen Tipton » Aug 3rd, '07, 10:46

:D John Fishers huge book ( 576 hardbound pages on acid free paper & with dust jacket) is published this month, August 2007. John Fisher was granted access to Cardini's personal notebooks, scrapbooks and memorabilia to tell the life story, career & details of The Act of this Great Master; One of Magic's Legends
His Act is explained in detail; 350 step by step photos..read, look and marvel but don't try to imitate. If you must use any of the material then use it in your OWN way..Cardini did; that is what helped make him so original. Possibly the only manipulation act which had loads of built in humour.
There is a beautiful colour frontpiece, a colour section and altogether over 825 photos

 The downside for some of you is the cost: $150 plus $40 dollars postage on Foreign orders. Or to save postage wait till Magic Books By Post or Keith Bennett stock it as they don't charge postage; it's covered in the purchase price.

Details are on Miracle Factiory's web site www.miraclefactory.net

:) To cheer you up however; there is a 14 page extract, with a lot of pics in the August edition of Stan Allen's 'Magic' magazine. Enjoy it.

Yes, that clip is amazing and makes you yearn for more.
Some of the Tarbell books explain a few of Cardini's methods such the production of a fan through a drum type hoop covered with paper.

The man was a true original and his style was unique. A joy to watch.
The book should be a very interesting one.
