On this volume you'll learn:

Silk Through Rope - A great classic, good for just about any venue. Its good for a single escape trick or can be used as a filler. Rating 8 / Difficulty 2

Houdini Rope Tie- One of my favorite small escapes. It is good for parlor, stage, buskin, not so much kids birthdays. The way Dixie performs it works very well. The only slight down side is its risky, even Houdini said it takes guts to perform this one. Rating 8 / Difficulty 3

Spirit Rope Tie- I too love this escape. I perform this in many of my smaller shows and even my college shows. Can be presented many different ways. David Cop. even performs a version of this on a large scale. Rating 9 / Difficulty 2

100 Foot Rope Tie- One of the all time classics in escapes. IT can be done between 75 to 200 feet, once I have seen it with 50. But that doesn’t look as impressive. He covers this escape really well. Rating 10 / Difficulty 5

Knots- Be basically covers some types of knots and types of rope. He does a fairly decent job on covering the rope to be used for specific escapes.

Lock Picking- doesn’t really cover this, just glances over it. Don’t get this expecting to be learn how to pick well. There are better sources for lock picking.

Historic Handcuffs- Goes over some old and classic cuffs. Rather interesting.

Thumbcuffs- Teaches a few basic moves and small escapes using these. Most EAs own at least one pair of these.

Escape from a Rubber Band- This is a great filler or even used for an opener. Gets the entire audience involved.

German Transport Chain Escape- An old chain escape. One I believe Houdini used quite a bit. I really enjoy this escape. You can easily build one of these, and he shows how to use it. Rating 8 / Difficulty 3

Overall, it’s a decent DVD for people interested in starting Escapes. it’s a good start with a nice foundation. It covers what most escape artists start with, ROPE, and that’s a good place to begin. Every one has or can get rope. Its taught very well, and you even get to see them performed for real people. Rating 9
