Cellular Forecast - mobile phone prediction

Postby S. Lea » Fri Aug 24, 2007 7:14 pm

Effect: Cellular Forecast
Cost: $35.00
Difficulty: No tricky sleights (or simple sleights) but as with all predictions needs to be well presented.

Comments

David Numen's Cellular Forecast is quite simply this: you give a
spectator a choice of anything; playing cards, objects, words, pictures,
etc. which you can then reveal as previously predicted on your mobile
(cell) phone.

For example, give your spectator a deck of cards and have him deal off as
many as he likes onto the table, stopping where he likes. Show the spec
that there is a SINGLE video on your phone, play it to reveal yourself
turning over a jumbo card - that matches the exact card the spec just
stopped on. Or make it simpler, have you spec draw anything he likes -
then show him that there is ONE video on your phone - it's of you drawing
the same image.

There are no gimmicks involved, or tricky handling, the only thing you
need is a phone that plays videos, an imagination and the ability to give
the effect the presentation it deserves.

The ebook itself is very well written and enjoyable to read. Over 43
pages, Numen discusses the origins of the idea before detailing several
ideas on the many ways his prediction effect be be utilised. All credit is
given where it is due and the overall impression is one of a creator
genuinely enthused about his creation.

Cellular Forecast sells at $35 and is available directly from the
creator's website http://www.letyourmindwonder.blogspot.com/

Does this require any forces? If you think answering would be exposure, then simply don't answer.
Sincerely,

The possibilities are limited by your imagination. Depending on the effect you're trying to achieve you may require a force. This is the same with all predictions. Can't explain in too much detail without exposure.

Thanks for the review Simon. I have this as well and the system really is limited by your own imagination and style of presentation. There are so many different ways of doing this. It combines well with Banachek's PS1 and PS2, as well as Tomo's Naked Mentalism.
