Seconded.

I've barely started examining my Sanctum 2 card and already I can see that it has a huge number of possibilities. Top notch and at a truly absurd price.

I think the only real problem is that too many people will be using it! (Sorry, Roth, I don't really want to deprive you of sales.)

Thirded??

I have bought a few effects from Outlaw - service, delivery and assistance from Rick were all excellent.

Outlaw Products

I have just put another order in with Outlaw.

Rick at Outlaw is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He is most courteous, efficient, and has always replied to my emails with efficiency and positive feedback to my queries.

The items I have already purchased have been absolutely brilliant and quite faultless in all aspects.

Credit where credit is due. Thank you Rick!

Highly recommended.

It is encouraging to see a lot of users both casual and seasoned are starting to get to grips with the more challenging routines on Sanctum2.

As a result, I am getting a lot of very interesting feedback and also requests for illumination that I have decided to set up a seperate section pertaining to Sanctum2 within the outlaw site.
The thread will (i) give performance tips (ii) illuminate some of the more cutting edge ideas in the card. (iii) be a forum for the development of said advanced ideas (iv) act as an opportunity for users to share their experiences and ideas.

So, this is not a cheap plug - but the only way I can think of contacting all of the owners of Sanctum2 and all those of you who have contacted me asking for such a resource.

I did say that this was going to happen on this thread, so this is a anouncement that is now up and running......

This is the website
(you will obviously need the password supplied in the Sanctum book, as this is intended for users only).

see you all there

I received my Sanctum 2 Card on Tuesday and I have not been able to put it down since. This is right up my street and unlike so many disapponting props that I have received in the past, this is worth every penny that was spent on it, having now got Sanctum I would have paid several times the price for it and happily so.
Sanctum is not just a one trick pony it is a tool which I think will continue to develop and grow as my Mentalism does the same. It has been given a lot of deep thought and this is apparent in not only the Card itself but the indepth instructions that accompany it.
There are very few effects that I truly get excited about, but in case you can't tell already, this one has done just that.
10/10.

Thank you for all of the encouraging posts.
As this is likely to be my last post on this, or any other forum for that matter. Can I please direct all owners of the Sanctum2 card to keep an eye on the Outlaw Effects S2 forums over the next few weeks, as some very important developments will be posted there....
thank you all again,
goodbye

I joined this forum specifically to ask what the hell this last post was about. Does anyone have any idea?

what do you mean?

The creator of Sanctum 2 is directing people who own the effect to a forum so they can keep an eye out for what I suppose is developments in routines of something of that nature.

seems clear

I don't think we've seen the last of Dr.Spirit

As the creator of the original Sanctum card and co-creator of S-2 I can say that there is some advanced concepts being discussed on the sanctum forum.

Hope that clears things up a bit.

Now! Drinks are on me! Guiness all the way around!

Hey and thanks for the support from TM and the U.K.

All the postive comments regarding Outlaw, I can fully back up. Their service and effects are truly excellent. Well made props that have had a lot of thought put into them and will prove to be a centrepiece of your performance.

Sanctum 2 is a work of art. The aging of the card looks superb and it looks like a genuine membership card to a secret society rather than something that has been made in recent years. The possibilities for this effect are endless and with the right presentation will get an incredibly strong reaction from a spectator as does anything that makes the experience more 'personal'.

Thanks again Roth for your superb service.

I dreamt that I recieved a postcard from a secret society!

My grandfather belonged to a group that sounds like this "Sanctum Society", but I'm not sure that's really what they were called.

The dream was pretty scary, considering I found this thread after the dream!

Is "Sanctum" a real secret society for magicians?

Welcome to TM Mr Clark...there is certainly provenance for such a society having existed if you consult the many social histories of metaphysics and esoteric organisations...There is a great book by Manly Hall called the Secret Teachings of All Ages in which you get a nice history and historiography of metaphyiscal evolution...there have been countless societies of which something like sanctum could have easily existed.

Also refer to the works of David Icke and Robert Anton Wilson.

And for an amazing social history, see Catherine Albanese, Republic of Mind and Spirit, Yale University Press...

I've only just started looking at the manuscript, but I must say it looks very good so far. More later. I'm a very, very busy person at the moment.
