Are the ones from grand illusions as good as the mindshades though, can any one compare?

I have the ones from gadgets.co.uk

They some to do the job just fine. I have decent vision ( dont need glasses ) but the image still isnt charply focused.

I could do a Spike rotuine easy enough but could see the difference between one card from another if picked from a table, unless the selections were spaced out.

Good shades though, great quaility and for a lot cheaper. Hmmm...

Got mine today from urban junkie. One side is really very sharp (left) with full detail. Right side is a little more blurry, couldn't make out a card unlike the left. Of course this could just be my eyes, I do wear contacts though...

All in all rather pleased!

Edit: Found the problem, and its not my eyes. If you look at the pair you've bought from the point of view that you view through, and then flat on as if the lenses were on the table then you can see whether the lenses are flush with the casing. My left side is, and is crystal clear. My right side however is not, and is thus blurry. I suggest you check yours to see if this is what is causing the bluriness. You really ought to be able to make out fine details with these (I can on the left side).

Main problem is that the lens casing is non adjustable. Will keep trying though!

Edit Edit: Given up. The frames are not adjustable, and I guess I can live with it. Left side is v sharp, enough for card spotting. Right side is sufficient for object distinguishing, just not detail of the card. :)

How much were yours in total, I might get some. If both my lenses work properly I could swap with you, I only have my left eye lol.

Got to see what my funds are like after payday though

Hmmm...

Perhaps there is a difference in quality when compared to Peter's product then. My MindShades glasses are sharp in both lenses, as validated by a friend with 20/20 eyesight.

Perhaps someone else with MindShades could comment on the sharpness of theirs or whether I just got a lucky pair. Otherwise I guess whether the difference in sharpness justifies the higher price tag is simply a matter of choice.
