Derren Brown Bear

Postby Chris » Nov 12th, '07, 14:06

Hello, had an ace weekend as I discovered a Puppet shop that sold this ace Magic Bear, who can read your mind!!!!!!!!!!

(ive called him Derren Brown Bear)

- You have this bag with five colored rectangles, the spec chooses a color, and puts it in a nice draw string bag, and then they hide the rest of the colors...........The bag with the colored rectangle is placed in the bears mouth and when you go through the colors out loud the bear shakes his head until you get the color right in which case he nods...........

Obviously you are moving the Bears head, but the secret is absolutlet amazing.........just thought Id share....spose its kinda review but not really................ x

Where from and how much please? Looks like it could be a good addition to a school Christmas show I am doing for 6 year olds

For a heart-stopping moment there, I understood your thread title to be Derren Brown Bare - yet I still clicked on it.

Yes it cost a very modest £40.......it would be good for kids parties, however Im thinking of making him a bit rudey for the adults....

The puppet stands at about two foot high with tiop hat and tails, bow tie etc.........

I got this from a chap who has a pyuppet stall, he will be at Blackpool next year........(they also do this is a wizard form to, but the bear is much better)

its www.aspuppets.co.uk however the bear is not on there, cos its a special me thinks...........but the guy currently has a stall in Milton Keynes Shopping Centre.............

and trust me the workings of this is lush, I was stumped for ages, and then the almighty DOH!!!!!!! set in when he showed me how it worked, absolute bargain for £40 and he even does a sponge ball routine with his mouth too(the bear that is, not th man who sold me him)

xxxxxxxxxxx

 for the price.
 for the possible exposure.

  marvins do a trick box with a colour block effect that i use to use with my lambchop, yes when i was about 8 i had a lambchop sock puppet.
the efect is deceptive and can be done from within the bag suplied and with your back turned.

the trick is in wilkinsons in there cheap trick toy section.

within the bag suplied and with your back turned

this does not work with the feel of the blocks in the bag etc... you genuinley dont see or know the color and the bear does all the work.....

without giving to much away, its battery operated!!!

Ive never seen anythin like it either !
