That Reminds Me by Michael Close

Effect
OK, so its not an effect as such. Its a book with a load of jokes and there is a story going behind it about his Father, growing up in louisianna, meeting the rich and famous along the way.

Cost
Well, I got the audio version, so that set me back a further £5 to the reasonable price of £10 for the printed format. As far as Im aware, you can only get it direct from Michael himself. If anyone can find it anywhere else, feel free to correct me here.

Difficulty
I dont think this really applies, unless you are considering trying to learn it all, in which case you may have to spend a few years learning it all.

Review
A great book. I bought it at blackpool and listened to it on the way back in the car. We had to pull over several times, as it was so funny, the car was all over the place.
I would personally pay £15 just to hear Michael telling all those jokes but it also comes with tonnes of history about some of the older magicians- Jay Marshall, Aldo Colombini etc.
He sells this all over the world, to lay people and magicians alike. Magicians like it for its inspirational qualities when it comes to patter, and for the insight into his life and the lives of the others he delves into.
Whereas lay people will buy it just because it is a great read. I will reccomend it for all three of these reasons.
It really is how Michael descirbed it in his lecture - Laugh Out Loud Funny

Overall
I would have to give it a 9.5/10. A 9.5 because he doesnt go far enough into the magic behind his act - which i suppose is fair enough if he wants to sell it to laypeople as well.

All the best,
Croz
