The Effect
For the first performance, the magician takes a coin and then shows the audience an empty bottle. Then, the magician visually melts the coin into a bottle. For the second, an audience member can see the coin through the bottle, holds it, and then the magician takes his hand away as the coin is in the bottle.
Cost
It cost me $41 since I live in England but the original price is $29.95
Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=suitable for experienced magicians only)
2/3 because it depends on what technique you use. (See below).
Review
It is one amazing effect as all of the people that I have shown it to were amazed. the concept of it is so simple as there are no gimmicks or holes! Everthing is examinable. Justin miller provides many different ways of performing the illusion.
Pros
-Easy to set up
-Strikes hard
-Once perfected, very hard to screw up
-Everything is examinable
Cons
-Some angles (very easy to find the right angles, and they are very minimal). Although one version can be done completely surrounded!
Overall
I highly recommend this effect (taught in DVD). It is a 9/10 for me. It is definitely worth the 30 dollars. It has many performance clips, which really add to the video's teaching (and entertainment style).
