Great stuff, the inaugral (sp) meet took place and I had a great time, shortish and sweet.

Lots of beer drank and 3 folks turning up. Did a tiny bit for the bar staff which was fun as always and met a couple of new faces!

With a little more notice we'll have more from Manchester turning up to the next one which I propose for a saturday (only a sunday this time due to the bank holiday)

Now to look forward to the Leeds meet next saturday and brush up on that sponge ball routine.

Nice to meet you Kolm, hope you make it to the next one and wasn't put off this time

Agecroft is very mean and completely confused me with far too many card tricks and different coloured keys while I was slightly drunk! He also impressed the bar staff with his (pretty cool) chop-cup routine, while I was left to not so impress them with my not so impressive coin trick

It was a good day, and I think having a manchester meet is a pretty good idea. I think the first saturday of each month is a good idea, and hopefully more people can make it next time!

I've got another name or two to agreee to come along the next time.

Sadly for me I'll not be able to make a meet until July due to Holidays and other commitments (unless it was a sunday in which case I could make late June.

Are people still interested in a Manchester meet?

Suggest some dates and lets keep the ball rolling

I still like the idea of a manchester meet. If we stick to the first saturday rule that would make it 7th June, but I'm open for any week, really

Feel free to meet on the 7th June.

I'll be sat on a beach in either Phuket or Phi Phi drinking a cocktail for each and every person that turns up ;)

I'd love to go, but I'm gonna be in Hungary until september, after that I'm moving to Salford, so I'll be able to go to the meetings.

I'd probably be able to make 7th June -- being self-employed means I can make pretty much any date, really.

But I won't have any tricks to bring to the table at the moment. Can I come anyway?

Where? When?

Yeah, let's do it if there's one other person up for it! Shall we say same time and same place on saturday (brunswick at 12)?

Don't worry about not having any tricks to bring. It can't be worse than my attempt at miser's dream :)

Yeah, OK, I'll be there. Even if it's just the two of us, we can at least have lunch or something. And I'll have an excuse to wander down to my favourite secondhand bookstall afterwards!

Female, long hair, glasses. I'll be wearing jeans and a dark green T-shirt with spilled milk on it. (No, I'm not sloppy with my cereal; that's the design.)

I was hoping to come to one of these. I can't make it tomorrow, though. I have to see a man about a dog, as they say. Next month?
