It's not bad for real ale. I was in there after covering the Manchester Baby's 60th birthday (a very old digital computer, m'lud). They had a couple of nice local brews on the pumps.

Also Vinny is in manchester this weekend for a change so I just have to convince him to turn out

Sorry, mates, I'll have to bow out on this one after all.
I seem to be heading for a migraine today (lousy weather) so won't be much good tomorrow. Also very much behind on my work, thanks to repetitive strain injury this week.
See you next month!

The sofa will be perfectly acceptable, cheers.
Although if everyone is clearing off in time for me to catch the last bus out of leeds i may head back; but we´ll see what happens.
Now all I have to do is find out where this Waldorf place is!

down the side of the Malmaison (after you walk past it) so leave the Picc Station by main entrance which has WH smiths next to it opposite the majoirty of platforms
You can only turn right and walk past gregs and lots of other shops. Malmaison is a big hotel on the other side of the road you should be able to see as you walk down the station approach.
If you know what time you're getting to manchester and where you'll be I can try meet you at the drop off point?

Indeed, was a good night and was nice to meet Tomo and Laurence (properly:))
That is, until I manage to mess up several times in a row and even mess up my fail-safe self worker. Pah! Time to work out some outs, I think

Fell asleep on the train, woke up missing a few things, still had my wallet and house keys though, so that's something.
And I now blame Rob for stealing my juggling balls, but he may keep them. I was wondering who on earth would steal my juggling stuff, wierd; I seem to lose a stage ball every time I go to one of these meets.

Now that thread was a sociology study, yet I'm sure the practice in a busy pub is great experience.
I'd go except the transatlantic air fares now are awful. Five hundred bucks just from T.O. to Cincinnati and back. Used to fly from T.O. to Leeds or Manchester and back for less! Sounds great.ron0

How about (so Deshi can make this one)
Saturday 30th August. It's a pretty big leap from the last one but I want to keep the numbers up. Dave has said he should be cool and I'll drag Ian down.
Anyone else ok with this date? I suggest the meeting place to be "KRO BAR" in Piccadilly Gardens as its great beer and lots of people and we had lots of performing there the last time (no one has to to perform by the way its mainly about the drinking or appears to be) Midday ish till 10 PM the last time so I'd like to do the same.
Any other takers?
