The New Jinx- Edited by Bill Madsen

Postby scott priest » Mar 19th, '08, 17:29

The New Jinx is back in print! This is a beautiful hard back covered book (309 pages) that contains the 1962-1968 issues of 'The New Jinx' edited by Bill Madsen. and Published by Kaufman and Company.
This collection features routines and ideas in almost every field of magic & mentalism that you can imagine. This is a continuation of Anneman's Jinx as a tribute to one of the greatest thinker's in magic and follows closely in the style and format of the Original. A few of the contributor's are: Excerpts from the Original Jinx (Anneman), Bobo, Irv Weiner, Felix Greenfield, Danny Tong, Eddie Clever, Harry Lorayne, Martin Gardner, Ed Marlo & Tony Shiels. There are many more, but I will leave those suprises for you to discover. There is far too much material to write an all- inclusive review on each effect or method listed. The thinking and volume of knowledge included this tome is inspiring & timeless. These are effects and methods that either already use, or will use after you learn them.
Cost:Pre- orders are $50.00

The New Jinx contains routines and effects that range from 'easy-expert'.
You will find yourself drawn to it again and again for (dare I say it?-yes.) the rest of your magical life. From a personal perspective- this is by far one of the best investments in Magic that I ever made.
