Paul Brook's Code

Postby MickyScouse » Apr 28th, '08, 15:14

Apparantly in some of Paul Brook's books there are codes to crack (http://www.paulbrook.co.uk/thecode.htm) Has anyone cracked any? If so, can they please give me a nudge in the right direction because I have no idea where to start!

I'm not positive but I think there are one or two pieces left that have not yet seen the light of day (clues).

He's promised me that it will not be overly easy to find the code + all of the clues. On the other hand, I believe ALCHEMICAL TOOLS lends to the observant a very large chunk of the required data.

Don't hold me to all of that, but that is how I understand things

Ah, so are you saying that we won't be able to start until we have all the clues?

You can start deciphering it now, but there will be seven parts in total. His web site has a forum dedicated to discussing it, but after a few early brick walls, it's gone a bit quiet. What it really needs is the input of a good amateur cryptologist.

My Maths Degree has a module in cryptography, along with number theory (it helps). It's irritating that the lure of a good code is making me want to buy them...

No...not yet anyway. We don't need to know anything about Crowley, etc at this stage. I think I said that on Paul's Forum.

Only the lure of a good code is making you want to buy them? Not the fact that they are full of gold??

My curiosity is strongly challenged here, even if psychologies is not my current venue, i dont think i could go wrong with Paul books.

I have no other choice now to buy a first book and see by myself!
Even tho I'm interested to know the mysteries around Crowley, the idea to solve a puzzle is getting me really excited!

That must be a beginning of C.U.P.S., hopefully someone will find a cure before i get too much intoxicated!

Paul Brook is clearly very talented. After all, he's come up with a great method of getting people to buy all 7 of his books.

Maybe I should offer some sort of riddle when people hire me...
