My first reveiw.

___

1dollarmagic really is magic for 1 dollar. The only problem is that the tricks are limited, and not ones you could buy from a local magic store. Nevertheless, 1dollarmagic is actually a good site and sells ok tricks. But most of the tricks are listed "Coming Soon". I downloaded a few, and was pretty pleased to start but after I performed them, it should of been free. The tricks were easy to spot out live.

Design Of Site: 9/10
Content: 5/10
Ease Of Tricks: 9/10
Guessability (?):9.5/10

Overall Score - 32.5 / 40.

Check out my reveiws to come.

How much practice did you put in to these effects before performing them?I normally practice in front of a mirror to check for bad angles, bad handling etc. I find this really helps when performing for people, so I know where to cover for angles etc. Perhaps perform for a trusted friend first so they can tell you what works and what doesnt.

I'd say that overall the tricks are not worth the money based on your review and therefore the content rating should be muich lower.

I'm always suspicious of downloads unless bought from a reputable dealer as most can be of poor quality and value, let alone there being a reasonably high probability that they're ripped off from someone else.

I wasnt saying bad tricks, I meant myself would not use them in a street performance, as some people may find out how to do it.

Oh yeh, and I'm NOT a bad magician :x (not to be mean)

Just the same old stuff churned out from various books or other websites... nothing new here. I would also like to know whether they have the copyright for some of these... especially the self tying shoelace... hmmmm
