|
What they Say:
Easy spongeball magic you can master can be yours on this "30 Tricks and TIps" DVD. Join Eddy Ray on a step by step journey into the world of spongeball magic.
It then goes on to list all of the tricks.
What I say:
I found this DVD very useful. I've always been interested in spongeballs, but never got around to it...this DVD came with 4 free sponges, and has 30 "tricks" included. Some of the "tricks" are just simple sleights that most magicians know, but if you're confused on something it gives great instructions, and is slow and easy to follow. I have gotten some great reactions with some really simple effects. The only thing that I didn't like about it was that they expect you to have a TT, which I don't. This is the only thing I didn't like about the DVD...otherwise, I enjoyed it very much...
Cost:
I bought it for $15 on eBay...I don't have any idea on any of the conversions for that, but it was relatively cheap, and like I said, came with 4 free sponges.
Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)
I'd give it a 3...there are sleights used, but nothing to difficult or complicated.
Review
I relatively liked this product, and I'd recommend it.
Overall:
This DVD is excellent for any one that is just beginning with spongeball magic...it is very useful and easy to follow. Plus, the four free sponges saved me time on buying them seperately. I don't know who Eddy Ray is, but he does an excellent job teaching, and is really smooth with it all. ^^
Thanks for reading my first review!

Nice review HMP
I just got this and agree that its a nice introduction to using Spongeballs. Picked mine up on e-bay too for about £9 I think.
The side of the box for the balls also has a link to a web-page with a few more moves on it. |
