Free Books!

Postby Relish » Jun 29th, '08, 09:40

Just checked the WH Smiths website, and theyve currently got a 3 for 2 offer with free delivery.

Theyve got RRTCM and Bobo's in stock and theres a few weeks waiting list for Mark Wilson's complete course (although some of his other books are in stock).

From what i understand these seem to be the best starting point for a beginner so im ordering mine asap.

Just thought i'd share

:)

Thanks for mentioning this.

To put the other point of view though, WHSmith are not particularly cheap for books, so even on a 3 for 2 offer you might be better to look elsewhere. For example, a quick search on BookButler came up with a nunber of places where you could buy it about 30% cheaper. So it might be better (particularly if you only really want one book) to look there first...

I agree WH Smith are not particularly cheap for books, however, their website IS really cheap for certain products. For instance, £6.59 for both RRTCM and Bobo's Modern Coin Magic is a great steal for beginners, and is the cheapest I've seen. With free delivery this is even cheaper than Ebay. On the point of Mark Wilson, his Cyclopedia of Magic sells for £3.99 regularly on Ebay, which I will get after finishing RRTCM.
