Just saw this posted on Paul Brook's forum.

Got some news on Paul but its not great.

His back is fine now. But he was booked into a hospital to sort out some surgery for his nose to aid him in his obstructive breathing. Worryingly during the analysis the doctors discovered a tumour in his nasal cavity. From what my friend understands it is not known is the tumour is cancerous or not at this stage. Paul is having surgery sometime next month.

Once again in a short space of time my thoughts are with him and his family.

Here's hoping for benign.

I'm sure I remember him telling me that he's had nasal surgery before for the same thing. Conclusion jumping is a terrible disease. Let's not cough over each other, yeah?

I've just got off the phone with the man himself. We talked last year about him having surgery for a nasal problem, which is what I half remembered, but he never had it done. He's having an operation to remove a tumour in February and will find out what it is afterwards. He's totally upbeat - if a little congested. Apparently the chances are heavily skewed that its benign.

So after spending 9 months away from this forum I come back to see one of my fav performers has been in an accident AND has a tumour?

My thoughts are going out to him.
