Good to be back. To be honest, been very out of magic for a while. Felt it the most when a few weeks back, was together with a bunch of very good magicians and all I could call upon was two tricks to do - and one of those was so obscene I think it offended a few of them big time. So anyway, figure it's time to re-enter afresh and get digging back into those Marlo books again!

This has been something I have been really interested in buying.

A few questions though,

Does it work with your average wallet?
Is it right every time or does it require an out (ie. KK) ?

It's based on KK so you're heading in the right direction. You don't actually need to buy the Heirloom wallet but you will need to source one suited for it - the instructions give you all the details. Having said that, the Heirloom wallet can be used for a lot more than just this effect.

The Heirloom Wallet itself is a lovely utility, and really gives your free rein for numerous effects - not just Heirloom iteself.

Very, very well-made, I certainly consider mine to have been money very well-spent :D

1) It doesn't have to be the Heirloom Wallet (though everyone who owns one, including myself will recommend it) but the wallet needed CAN be a normal one but with certain requirements. (trying not to expose here!)

2) Similar to KK, but the out is provided with Heirloom and is very good

Well having KK and knowing the principle I am just curious if it's a worthwhile principle. The wallet and heirloom itself is close to $100, so if it's just a fancy photo version of KK then I think I might pass. But this is one item that continues to catch my eye.

Not sure about the exchange rate, my friend, but Heirloom itself is about £20 and the wallet £25. Try www.alakazam.co.uk

Yes, it's a principle worth having, KK itself is a great effect with a good out and the extra effects included with the wallet are worthwhile and I'm sure you'd be inspired to come up with some of your own too.

If you're good at storytelling, the Heirloom is for you. Perfect if someone asks how you got into magic.

This sounds a real cool effect but I cant help thinking people must want to see the wallet afterwards.

That's fighting talk in these here parts!

You need to think like a magician: even if they DO want to see the wallet, you quite simply don't give the opportunity.

You can flash the empty wallet when you remove the photo. This dispels
all notions that it's a 'dodgy' wallet. Actions speak louder than words in this case.

You're welcome. If you are performing Heirloom, the wallet is a worthwhile investment. The instructions enclosed with it are detailed and provide you with other effects that the wallet can be used for, so it's not just a one trick pony. There's a good Zener card routine with it and of course, you can perform Kolossal Killer with it, if desired.
