I agree. It annoys me when people act all offended at his stage persona. It's like getting tickets for a Slayer gig and then complaining that the music was too heavy.

I am a hugh fan of Jerry's his magical ability is awesome and his humour is just as awesome or aweful depending on how you look at it. But that's Jerry and if you don't like it then don't go and see him, but you will be missing a great show.

I've been to see him at the Edinburgh Fringe the last two years, wouldn't miss it for anything..

People need to upload more Sadowitz on Youtube, there's next to nothing. Unless you fancy watching that God awful Shamen video.

Does anyone know the password on his web site? I've racked my brains and im certain its one of those things that im thinking the wrong way about. Thats so obvious i know it but because im thinking too hard about it i dont know it.

With me?

Unfortunely, Google is your friend. But no, i shall not directly tell you the answer. It gives me an opportunity to be smug. :)

It's just the guy who owns it! Go on the Genii forum and look around. Hes the one with a couple billion posts.

And, there is nothing really on the Magicians only section. Just some angry ramblings.

The reason that there is practically nothing Sadowitz-related on YouTube is because JS demands any of his material gets taken down on the grounds of copyright infringement the second he realises it's there. AFAICT he searches every few days. And not just YouTube. Considering he hates forums and forum-magi so much, he spends an awful lot of time trawling the forums for his name and then trying to bait people.

If you get into the password-protected part of his website all you will find are Jerry's thoughts on a couple of people he doesn't like and details of the last few issues of his magazine (which he won't sell to you).

He will. But it'll take a hell of a lot of work.

Well, he used to sell it to me and now he simply won't reply to my emails when I contact him to check whether he will sell it to me. So I guess that's a 'no' then. I can't think what I've done to upset him.

Shame I haven't got amazing eye sight so I can read the crimp thumbnails he displays!

If you search for Stuff The White Rabbit on You Tube, there is one episode with about 3 Sadowitz tricks amongst other magicians.

A spoiler is below, but I've not given away any methods, only effects.

The two tricks that stick to mind is where JS openly isolates the 2 black aces, he then asks a spectator to think of any card and JS demonstrates how the chosen card will become located between the aces. Having reset the aces at the top and bottom of the deck in dealing position, JS then asks what the spectators card is, does a 'blink and you'll miss it' fancy move - and wouldn't you know it!

The other was where a spectator chooses and replaces a card from a spread on the table while JS looks the other way, the card is replaced and the spectator is encouraged to alter the shape of the spread, JS then squares the deck. A black jack is then used to locate the spectators card by passing through the deck in a few places. The jack not only locates the chosen card, but on turning the deck face up, all the remaining cards are shown to be blank.

I can't remember the third if there was one, it was getting late!

Hello!

I'm new to this Forum, dunno if it's active any more...I'm a big fan of JS, I'm living in Sweden so needless to say finding stuff with him over here is nigh impossible.

Dare I ask anyone here who bump into him/ are fortunate enough to see him live to please ask for an autograph for me?:-)

(Also I'm wondering why the links on his website are blank at times? Is it my browser/server's fault or..?)

Hope I haven't overstepped any boundaries by posting :-)

Moses, he'd never sign an autograph for a magician unless you seriously get on his good side.
