Injuries

After a weekend of pinkie counting, i think I'm getting a repetitive strain injury in my little finger and this got me thinking, anyone else had any magic related injuries?

Whilst learning a false riffle shuffle I got a nasty raw patch of skin on my pinkie, nothing compared to the ol' Guillotine accident I had a few weeks back...

My right index finger is a nicontine stain coloured yellow from lighting flash paper. It feels crispy as well. What's the craic with this guillotine?

That skin that connects your thumb and index finger that if spread out makes an "L" for loser, I've had that inflamed and to the point of bursting open because of a one handed cut.

Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Not really an injury, but I set off the smoke alarm in a restaurant by using flash paper.

I nearly burnt a house down using an ignited fire lighter on which to burn billets during a seance theatre thing. Who would have thought that one fire lighter could produce so much bloody fire?

And I have a dent in my right thumb from doing the zombie. And I once pricked a woman's hand badly with a fork during a PK thing. She was a good sport and didn't scream or nothing.

I had an allergic reaction to a PK ring. My finger went brown and itched like mad for months after. I no longer wear a PK ring. There are more subtle ways to stop a watch. Like smashing them.

I didn't know you can suffer allergic reactions from PK rings.

I got a bad carpal tunnel from practicing "the pass" a lot. My skin/hand hurt a bit after I practiced the muscle pass once.

I still have a small scar on my upper lip from a certain night at the Ruskin spent with Bananafish and a flash paper cigarette.

I once cut the skin between my thumb and index finger with a pair of scissors whilst in the middle of a cut & restored rope routine. The rope did a partial colour change to red ! I finished the routine with blood dripping from my hand and had to try & stem the flow with a napkin before moving on to the next effect. At least it showed that the scissors were real

Wow! I never knew magic was so dangerous. Glad none of us work with tigers or anything.

I got repetitive strain injury about a month ago from doing proofreading with a defective pencil. Had to knock off work for a week.
