Have anyone had problems getting smoke out of this? A few of us bought this and have had no luck in getting smoke to appear. It may be that the strength of the chemicals are not the same as he uses or the quantities are different from his instructions. Can anyone supply the commercial name/brand of these chemicals and from which supplier they bought them. Any tips would be great. Many thanks.

It uses Spirits of salt (Hydrochloric Acid or Muriatic acid as it is known in the USA) and Household Ammonia.

Chemicals are not supplied, due to restrictions with airlines etc. However they are available from the following sources:

In the USA: Known as Cleaning Ammonia and Muriatic acid. Cleaning Ammonia is usually available from grocery stores and Muriatic acid usually from Builders Supply stores.
In England: Known as Spirits of salt and Household Ammonia. Available from selected hardware stores – more likely from a small, privately owned hardware store.

I know what you are saying but I have tried these chemicals and they do not work as well as they should. If someone in the UK has bought some Spirit of Salts from say

and have had success that is what I want to know. Several folk I know have had no success with the chemicals bought so it is the supplier of chemicals which have proved to have worked I am interested in.

When Peter demonstrated this at Blackpool in February I understood he was using chemicals sourced in the UK - perhaps an e-mail to him for suggestions and advice would help?
