Took me months to go into a Magic Shop. Marvellous to have a complete copy again.
You should ALL read 'The Man Who Was Magic' by Paul Gallico ( The Poseidon Adventure, The Snow Goose etc) First published in 1966 by Wm Heinemann Ltd.. Mine is the Pan Books paperback from 1968
Paul G certainly sized up magicians,

their foibles and faults very well indeed as well as providing great hints about keeping Magic Simple, in his very readable & enjoyable story.
I see there was a copy on E Bay this last week.
