Ant is a top bloke and his after-sales service is second to none. RiP gives you everything you need to go out and starting hypnotising people, although I found going on one of Ant's two day courses was what really got me started. At first I was zapping people every day but, like Chris says above, the buzz can wear off a little bit after you've put 100s of people under. The first time I got invisibility was amazing but when you can regularly get the big phenomena like positive and negative hallucinations you eventually get a bit blase about it.

It's best to avoid friends and family (they are not likely to be your best subjects) and the truth is if you haven't got the nerve to go up to a random group of complete strangers at a moment's notice then you're never going to be "The Hypnotist" anyway. Confidence, attitude, conviction and total self-belief are all vital. If you can tick all of those boxes then buy RiP ASAP and start hypnotising!

Yes it is a great book. Highly recommended.
I read it and tried using the techniques a couple of times but failed.
re-read a few times then when I least expected it...it worked !

Its one of those things you have to NOT think about while you are doing it.
If you or the client think "this might not work", then it probably won't.
if you put yourself (and the client) in the correct frame [I AM a hypnotist and you WILL be hypnotised] then it probably will work.

I myself have this book, and, think it is a fantastic starting point for anyone interested in impromptu hypnosis.
I also have the Manchurian Approach and the Trilby Connection, both excellent DVD's and well worth checking out, I now have started
to use the Calof Eye Lock set piece as well as magnetic fingers and magnetic palms as set pieces before going into an induction, which always
helps set up a firm belief in me as The Hypnotist.

I'm halfway through reading this and too be honest........ I'm bloody excited and can't wait to get out there.

I've often wanted to venture into this field and I reckon that after a few reads I'll be full of the attitude to go and pull this off. Im actually tingling with every page I read.

Buy this book! If you have ANY interest in hypnosis then RiP is where you should start. Don't think that it's just an introduction, this could be the only book you need to buy.

I'll update on here as and when I get going.

Best wishes

Alec

Hi Alec,

thanks for writing up your first impressions. I look forward to hearing about your first success. Stick to the basic recipe till you get it. Then enjoy the freedom of recognizing you are only limited by your imagination. Got your PM by the way, supplements are on their way.

Check out the videos on our site www.headhacking.com if you haven't already, I am sure they will give you some ideas.

Any questions, please get in touch.

Best regards,

Anthony Jacquin

jon_kent wrote:Had my 2nd little bit of success yesterday ! I managed to stick my mates hand to his leg :) He said he couldnt even feel a connection to his arm let alone feeling it but just not being able to unstick it. I then tried to stick his other hand to his head but that didnt work and when i tried to stick his foot to the floor that didnt work either :( I then woke him up and put him back to normal.

So having only tried it on family and friends my score is 2 successes and 3 fails.....need more practise but dont know how to get it withought trying on randoms, do i carry on trying on the 1's that it didnt work on ?

Hi Jon,

you have had great success so far. Sure continue to practice on those you are failing with, if you are someone who learns from such experiences.

However I would encourage you to work with others if you really want to make progress.

If you are already getting into the physical pass or fail suggestions and winning then it is a short leap to amnesia.

Link the undoing of the stuckness to the development of amnesia - create a strong moment. Suggest amnesia directly, suggest it with analogy, let them know how they will feel about that, 1,2 wide awake and distract with some random question, then test your work. Recognise it can fail so after a few other questions to reinforce that reality, put them back in and undo the amnesia.

Keep at it. You have actually come further than you might imagine with your five attempts.

Like all beginners who want to perform with this and do not want to undermine their magic I suggest you concentrate on the approach, set up and set piece. Once you can perform with those exercises and exit with your head held high the concerns about what if it does not work tend to fall and your success rate increases.

Stay in touch.

Anthony

Anthony,

May I just say thank you for all the support you are giving us all. Who else would offer such brilliant and personal advice without asking for additional payment?

You obviously have a hit on your hands here judging by the number of positive posts. I've finished the book now and can't wait to get out there.

Re the above post, if I get 1 success out of the first 10 I will be quite happy. Having never hypnotised someone before I would then know, from that one person, that it does work an that I can do it. Something to build on as it were.

I'll update on here and if the opportunity arrises I may even try to film my first efforts and post them here. No promises tho!

Thanks again Anthony, you are a star and deserve every success for sharing this with us.

Alec

I really can't wait. Just out of interest, what have people been saying if the person doesn't go under?
It wouldn't bother me. I have something ready. This is going to be alot of fun!

There are lots of 'outs'

"You were not ready to go into hypnosis at this time, and perhaps there are some distractions, but wasn't it a bit weird that your fingers moved together/hands felt heavy/you were able to just relax etc.. That shows that you are the sort of person who could be hypnotised and it was nothing like as scary as you first imagined."
