Blapsing Beard - How long after receiveing the book did you manage to successfully hypnotise someone?

Also, what is the quickest induction to date?

By the way, my self-hypnosis against CUPS went awol - I have now ordered this book myself!

In that case maybe I should put the wake up procedure near the front of the book rather than at the back!

feel sooo * awesome!

Just hypnotised someone and got them completel;y and utterly "under"

not only have i achieved invisibility now but i have also...

numbed her arm
numbed both arms
got both hands stuck to a cardboard box
become invisible
become invisible
become invisible ( :D )
got her to think that the colour green was in fact, blue
have an orgasm when someone shakes her hand

and all this done in front of a girl who I realllly fancy!

haha!

This book is brilliant! Would never have achieved this without it...I've been bleeding well trying to as well!

Cheers Mr Jacquin! Amazing publication, and well worth the money!

And to think, all this within 2 weeks of hypnotising someone for the first time at a restaurant!

This was done whilst sitting down in the corridor of my flat at uni!

I have a stage routine where everyone thinks they are Jesus and they have a big argument over it. It tends to all get a bit Monty Python in the end.

Excellent to hear you have been invisible. I am so pleased for you and that in some way i have been a part of that. I remember the first time I went invisible well. Such a buzz. It still amazes me. It is a super power after all.

For magicians a good idea is to make someone else invisible to your subject. You can then go onto perform every kind of invisible touch, bottle levitation, chair dancing, floating table you can imagine and much more. I recently made someone believe their beloved dog was invisible and lost. It was actually attached to the lead they were holding. They went round the park calling for it and stopping passers by to ask if they had seen a fluffy white dog. Inexplicably to the subject, the passers by pointed to a bit of blank space saying there it is.

Sticking people to things is great fun. I tend to use a glass or bottle and stick it to one hand, then ask them to try and pul it off with the other, then both hands stuck, then it starts to levitate and drag them around. Genuinely sticking the playing card between the hands of your spectator so they cannot get at it either can add to an effect.

Have much have you scared off the girl you fancy?

Well I'm hoping that it shows a bit of status, and makes her think "you know what, as much as he can be a prat at times, he's really cool"

worse comes to the worse, I'll just hypnotise her! ;)

Please Chris, do not answer the man!
Edit: too late

My Christmas wish list now has 3 things on it, this book is one of them.

If you remember Mr Jacquin, I was the very giggly (and probably drunk) fellow in the ruskin earlier this year that was both very interested and highly sceptical of all things hypnotic. My "I want to believe" attitude towards hypnotism had a good night that night conversing with you guys and Dr Jonathan Royal Bsc! (2 very different styles to see!)

Was this done with her permission or without ?

People will always talk about their success at anything. I'm interested to know how many failures you have had (how many people have you tried to hypnotise, how many of these were without their permission & what percentage of them either failed or succeeded) :?:

all of them with permission. I've never attempted it without permission.

I've tried the invisibility twice, it failed first time, but worked on the second - aka, yesterday.

I tried the colour change once 2 days ago, and it failed. Though I found out 3 hours ago that the guy was colour-blind anyways, but he was embarrassed to tell me.

So overall, this has been a success. Failed once, passed once!
