You Can Do Magic Too - Mark Waddington

Postby lozey » Oct 24th, '08, 20:03

This is a dvd that Mark is selling to raise money for the Sue Ryder Hospice.

Cost: £5
Difficulty: 1/5

Vanishing Coin - Exactly as it sounds, A coin dissapears under a clean glass

Find The Lady- You show 2 cards with a queen between them, turn them over and take out the middle card. Its now a different card and the queen has gone

Cups and Balls - The basic routine

4 Ace Mystery - The old 'cut deck into 4 piles, deal 3 cards off each pile onto the other piles - the aces end up on top of each pile

I Can Read Your Mind - A common pyschological force. Used by Max Maven on mainstream TV

Jumping Jacks - You show 4 aces, then put them in different parts of the deck. They all reappear on the top

Water to Ice - Pour some water into a paper cup, wave you hand over it and tip out several ice cubes

Mind Reading Cards - Another TV effect where a thought-of card dissapears from the screen. Was used by Lance Burton on a TV special

This dvd is taught with no talking at all. It has subtitles that are easy to read where needed. Theres nothing on this dvd that would really be of use to a professional magician as most of the routines dont end 'clean'. It does teach the basic cups and balls though, if you dont already know it. Its more suited kids who might want to do a single trick at a party or at school.

Hell....its only a fiver and its for charity!
