Glasgow Meet

Postby GaryGrace » Fri Oct 31, 2008 1:11 pm

OK folks, here it is. Somewhere to discuss times and dates and blah and blah.

Personally I'd rather wait until after Xmas but shall remain open-minded.

Let the piping-ining begin.

Maybe the moderators can pipe in but would it be discriminatory to refuse attendance to Ibrox denizens?

Ha... typical Glaswegians... the thread almost instantly turns to football... (up here it's not the colour of your skin... it's the colour of your scarf that's important  ) Will we have to make sure the meet doesn't fall on an old firm clash?

Tam Shepherd's should be a lot quieter now that Halloween is over.. so there seems like a good starting point (and I can spend some dosh...).

I'm not really free until the week after next (unless anyone else can meet during the day?)....

What do folks want to do? Meet for a cupla hours and a few drinks or start early doors on a weekend and end in tatters?? I'm easy either way..

Ahhh, yes!

It was like a 20min queue outside tam shepards.

I think we should get a couple in at the QMU then tear it up in the garage... or club burly?!

(glasgow joke!)

I'm working evenings this week but would be interested in further meets.

NB keep in mind that Celtic are playing Man United on Wednesday! The pubs might get a little lively!

See, I told you football was too important to be left out for long!! lol

Unfortunately my god daughter is performing in 'Annie' on wednesday and I'm morally obliged to go and watch..... So I'm afraid I'm out. Should be around next week though if folks want to make it a regular thing?
