I'm going to have to pass again. Will be in NL next week, Huddersfield and Whitby the week after for Doomsday, and flying straight to Ireland from there...

Would anyone be happy with the next meeting being the 10th June? With the possible addition of a field trip to Golden Wand Magic in Port Talbot early in the day, with probably a return to the Bank Statement afterwards for some much deserved drinkage.

Yes, a magic shop in Port Talbot. I know! And it's a few pounds by train!

Yes, I know. But if it's a problem for people, I'm OK with shifting it to the 11th (Saturday)...

Just got to Dublin yesterday, not sure when I'll be leaving, so don't lean too much on my opinion in this :)

Actually I might be able to do Friday (depending on time). Definitely can't do that Saturday.

(Sound of DenmarkKilo's head smashing through the plasterboard wall in mild frustration)

Ok, so Friday the 10th, and depending on the timing the possibility of a field trip to etc etc etc

Since last time it failed, I think it's worth another try on "Self Working" as a theme.

I might even have something I can do...

And if anyone wants to come along on the field trip, please say, lest it become more disorganised...

We're looking at around 2pm for the meetup at the Bank Statement in Wind Street in Swansea on Friday. At that point we will make the decision as to if we will go to Port Talbot's Magic Shop That Isn't Too Far To Walk From The StationTM. Feel free to turn up earlier if you want.

Train Fare is £3.70 Return for Swansea to Port Talbot Parkway.

In theory I will be at the Bank Statement at 1:45pm. Gives me a chance to get a drink and polish the nails.

Yes.

The turnout was 2 people (Mr Beard and myself), and after waiting until about 2:15, we headed off to the train station and to the magic shop. It turned out to be a fairly good place to go. The people running it were polite, talkative and managed to gain some of my hard earned pennies. It's somewhere I wouldn't mind going to again in the future, and was well worth the trip.
