Sounds like you need to work on the build up as you are giving away too much to your wife.

In any case, its a superb addition and is one of those killer tricks that you can even do as a walk around in a club with loud music playing.

Easy to construct so I've got 4 or 5 on the go now.

Yes - I've been practicing more now. Tried it at a work pub lunch - blew 'em away! Great stuff! As long as you get the final "clean up" move smooth then you're home free and they are left scratching their heads.

have to watch the angles at the side sometimes a bit too, but stepping back a pace helps that.

It's also a bit ballsy, but I like a delay between the reveal and the cleanup & can help take the heat off the cleanup if you know what i mean. It's hard trying to remember the WoW factor I had when I first saw it and every time again I watched it until I bought it and knew how it was done. The specs dont have that spoiler :)

I absolutely love Tagged! It gets nothing but great reactions and it's a real fooler. Even some of my regular hecklers were baffled. Fantastic work, Richard!

I have added tagged to my close up act as a closer and must say this is the strongest closer I have ever done. Specs are just left amazed and when you give them the chain and card to examine that gives me more then enough time to clean up.
As far as one of the past post about wife working it out, mine does it all the time, my fault as I use her all the time to practice on and she demands to know how stuff is done. If I don't tell her she hits me and that can hurt lol.
So just to finish off tagged is a keeper and a must for any close up worker.

sorry forgot to add I have made a couple of these up so I can do it with different cards through the night saves time plus you can sign the card and give to the spectator at the end.

Can anyone give me some advice on where to get extra chains? I love tagged, i think it is practical - and a real killer. But I have noticed many of you say that you have several gimmicks on the go... but I can't, because I only have the one chain. Any recommendations of websites, or shops where they stock them would be great...

Thanks guys.

Okay I've got a bit of advice for people that have this - but I've gotta be careful about giving anything away.

On the DVD, under the section "making the gimmick", the first card shown is the 9 of hearts - all nicely prepared. Do u notice anything unusual - like is anything the wrong way up ??

Then, later on in the DVD he shows the 8 of hearts, nothing unusual so far. Then he starts to prepare the gimmick and whoops, he's messed it up again (just like the 9 of hearts).

Later on, the 7 of spades is used - oh dear, not again .... 3 times now ......

I've just emailed Richard Sanders to get his thoughts on this - dunno whether I'll get a reply or not as I emailed him a while ago about something else and didn't get a reply :? .

Anyone any thoughts ??

Well spotted, did not take that into account when making the gimmick.

I have just check and pure luck has it I did not make the same mistake.

It would go over the specators head anyway I think as the trick is storng enough that they would not notice.

But well done for pointing it out.

Yep I noticed that. I was looking out for it actually once I knew the secret. Couldn't believe he didn't check, I thought everyone knew about the pips.

I agree that it's a very visual piece of magic & the fact they can keep it just adds so much to the effect.

Try a staionary or office supply shop. I have easy access to loads of the chains via someone's stationary cupbaord so the high street (WHSmith's) or similar should have them.

On the subject of the wife guessing the workings, if someone is the first person you show tricks to they do seem to pick stuff up. I wouldn't worry, I'm guessing it was the first performance & that is what practice & working on things is for. I bet by the time you show a complete laymen you'll have them screaming.
