X marks the spot!

From the award-winning mind of Mathieu Bich comes eXile - the effect that kick started the latest David Blaine special with a bang. eXile takes place entirely on the spectator's own hand. Three small X's are drawn on someone's open palm. A quarter is placed in the center of their hand.

Slowly, you slide your fingers over each X, and they visually, instantly vanish. No sign of ink to be seen. Nothing. When the quarter is lifted, there are three perfect X's directly in the center of their palm.

Had a look at the demo video for this one and it looks like a good effect.
Have a good idea on how it is done, but before buying I was just wondering if anyone has brought it yet, if so your thoughts would be great.

This looks like a good addition to my close up act ... hopefully.

Ive got it, it isnt that good in my opinion, and I wouldnt class it as a practical set up...


Money better spent elsewhere - especially when you see the value of the props! (yes I know, the values in the routine and method, but that doesnt hold much value, unless you want to be Blaine....)

Just got a lend of the dvd for this trick.
All can can say without given anything away...
Alot of messing to make the gimmick.
Will have a think about how I can do it better but in my mind to much messing for such a short trick.

Was going to buy this but will stay away for now.

Totally agree, shame bout all the hype for it....not used it once.

Can the gimmick be made with an english coin or is it only a quarter?
