Postby Card Detective » Feb 13th, '09, 00:10

Can anyone tell me if it will take a one or a two euro coin.

If it takes the same as coinvexed 1 then it works best with 5 and 10 cent pieces and 20 cents at a push.

My Coinvexed 1 will not take the one and two euro coins which is why I wondered if anyone had tried it with Coinvexed 2.

Given there is an upgrade pack I think that at least half of coinvexed 1 is used. That'd mean it would take the same coins.

But what I am trying to establish is if it can be used with a one or a two euro coin. It is a great effect with an outstanding
method which has been well fitted into the performance. I like to be able to use it with a one or a two euro coin. The firsat version can not, can the new sharpie version be used with one or two euro coins?. Has anyone tried?.

If the first version can't it is unlikely the second version can - sorry.

The upgrade pack for those with coinvexed 1. Now obviously that means that you use part of the coinvexed 1 gimick (maybe half...) in coinvexed 2. That would mean that it will not work with any euro coins other than those <20c.

A bit of editing has taken place as all these guesses are doing more harm than good. If you buy Coinvexed 2 you don't need to have anything else. If you buy the upgrade kit you need the original Coinvexed. As has been mentioned the coins which can be used with the original Coinvexed can be used with Coinvexed 2. Official launch is only a few days away so have patience folks, have patience.....

My coinvexed 2 (update pack) has just arrived and after viewing the dvd and looking at whats in the box I would say that this version helps with any handling issues people may have had and probably makes the trick smoother and more natural in its performance.

But If I am being honest I had a rough idea of what I was going to receive so the fact that I bought it anyway must mean something :!:

My only gripe would be that IMHO it may be a bit pricey for what you get just to upgrade / update a trick especially if you are already happy and comfortable with the original

A good point but if it were cheaper what's to stop people from buying 2 upgrade packs & using those?

I'm more than happy with the original though so I'm sticking with it.

Good question - But you need coinvexed 1 and 2 ......not 2 and 2

I sent a one euro and a two euro coin to WMS and had no reply. Using the original I had a local craftsman make one for my exclusive use for these coins but he failed in that it split and then cracked with use. Just shows how good the original is. Shame WMS can not make them for the euro zone. Surely there is a market. But I am being selfish, may be better to keep it at home and protect the secret. Its too good. Still I wish I could use it with one and two euro coins or even a fifty cent piece. The other cent coins are just too small and I use the bigger coins for other effects already in performance.
