Review
Having studied Keith's excellent Tarot Made Easy to the point of getting bookings for, and making a little money doing Tarot Readings, I was keen to hear Keith's experiences, wisdom and tales on his own Tarot reading experiences. I wasn't disappointed. Keith's writing style is easy to read, his chatty, anecdotal style is just that, chatty, anecdotal, and I read this cover to cover without putting it down. There are a number of little gems of advice, most of which have an a funny anecdote to go along with them, and it's just nice, and somewhat reassuring to learn that you're not the only one who has the occassional weird experience while you're working.
There could have been a little more depth in theory, perhaps on the best ways to advertise, may be a bit on cold reading, but that's not really the point here - it's more about Keith and his experiences than the theory as it were behind making money from Tarot Reading, and as such, the nuggets that you do get are welcomed. You also get a couple of 'tricks' at the end to mix in with your readings, to help reenforce your psychic powers, and welcomed advice on what you need to know in case you come up against a coven of vampires in Birmingham (I kid you not!).
Overall, this is a nice, well written and well presented spiral bound book. It's fun to read, has a number of golden nuggets of advice, and is above all entertaining. I think it would be nice if Keith would combine this with his Phsychic Reader's Course as a super-deluxe offering, or at least with the Tarot Kit, as it expands nicely with the material in Tarot Made Easy, and certainly answered many of the questions I had when I first read it.
Also, thanks to Keith for signing my copy, he's a gentleman and a scholar.
Overall 8/10
