Overall
As I mentioned in my review of 10 Ways to Force a Card, I bought this because I was disappointed in 10 Ways.

Gerry does an outstanding job of teaching. His style is laid back and his teaching is clear. The photography is first rate. An example of Gerry's teaching can be seen on the Slip Force. He not only shows the handling, but takes time to discuss the angles. He then suggests that for close-up work he would use the Riffle force and only use the Slip Force when he is more than a few feet away from the audience.

One of the gems I found on the DVD is the Hofzinser Force. I am far too cowardly to attempt the Classic Force. I like to concentrate on presentation and patter, so the simpler forces are usually my preferred choice. However, every force--to a greater or lesser extent--is a contrived move, with the exception of the Classic. So, Hofzinser, which looks very much like the Classic, is not too difficult--and it is well explained on the DVD.

There are no effects included on the DVD, but sprinkled throughout are Helpful Hint segments. There is even one section called Why use a Force?
Many magic explanations suggest that you "Use your favourite force". Well, if you have been stuck using the Criss Cross force every time then it's time to look at this DVD. There is a lot here that is not too difficult, and all of it is enjoyable to watch.

It's not Royal Road, but when asked about card forces, I typically recommend this product. Between the 10 forces and 40 forces, they are the same price, why not go for 40 and odds are you'll find five or six that you'll fall in love with.
