Seance by Scott Moore-Davis

Postby Reverend Tristan » Feb 26th, '09, 00:08

Hardcover
180 pages
1988 and Re-printed in 1996 by Kaufman and Greenberg (USA)

I can't rate dificulty but if you're into this side of performing you'll understand why.

Where to start? This is one of my fav books that I own, just to look at it is a pleasure.

It contains all 12 issues of the seance magazine including all ads and such, but to the book itself.

It covers lots of areas of the seance business, from planning to performing. There are articals by well known names, there are single seance effects and full scripted seances, plot ideas and articals about old seance items.

It is also a nice taster for some of the worlds greatest seance writers, I have gone out and bought their books after reading their articals in Seance.

All in all a great book, I have taken a lot of ideas from here, you won't use everything in here, it depends on your taste and performance style but it really is a nice read, given me lots of ideas and I'm sure it will do the same for others here, I know one person that want's to get her hands on mine :shock:

Hi Tristan, All;

I found it on Kaufman's site, but it seems it doesn't take paypal.

Do you know any local (UK/Europe) shops who sell this book?

Thanks
LP.

I believe there is a way of having your paypal appear as a Master Card for just such instances (why Kaufman hasn't come into the 21st century is beyond me). Double check with PP on that, I know I've used something like that... it issues a one time only number for the charge, etc.

The only other recourse would be to mail him a money order or check, which does mean it could take a while to process.
