Bruised
Bruised is simply another way to reveal a spectators chosen or though of card, their name, chosen/thought of word or number, their initials, ESP effect or a coin effect.

Prize
15 Sheets And DVD for $27.85; You recieve 15 BRUISED sheets (more than 50 bruises - letters, numbers, pips, cards, a quarter, esp symblos, etc.) and a DVD packed with routines, application tips, and endless ideas to to help you come up with your own routines as well. You do get a decent variety/selection of bruises, but I think they could have expanded it even more. Though they do tell you how you can make more, if it doesn’t have the letter(s) or numbers you require- and the method taught is pretty creative.

8/10

Difficulty
Not very difficult at all. Really allows you to work on the presentation.

2/10

Teaching
The teaching I thought was done pretty well. He covers most of the questions one might have, explains it all very well and for the most part ‘in depth.’ He gives you plenty of ideas apart from the ones performed… it even has a ‘brain storming section.’ He doesn’t really teach a force or how he does the coin effect.. but semi-experience magician can figure them out… and most should know at least one force.

8/10

The Method
The method is really up to you. He does go over a few ways to reveal the bruise. But its really an open ball park, as there is more than one effect that can be accomplished with these.

8/10

Quality of DVD
Its not movie quality, but its not shitty. It works for what one needs.

8/10

Overall
Originally the only reason I bought this was for the bruises. But after watching the DVD I got even more ideas than what I had intended. I will definitely be using this in my bar routine for years to come. It has quite a few applications, and you cant run out of ideas with this. It doesn’t always have to be a card revelation- it can be a name prediction or an ESP effect where their thought transfers to you in the form of a bruise.
I wouldn’t recommend this for every one. This effect has its time an place.

Overal Score: 8/10

So this seems to have been a bit forgotten about in recent times, and whilst some places do still sell the full effect, I just need specifically the Refill pack - even Creative Magic have stopped selling them.

Does anyone know who's still selling the refills? Specifically I'm after the large card refills - i.e. a picture of the card rather than "K" "3" "S", etc... So the 5 of spades or the Queen which I know are refills.

Alternatively if anyone has some spare ones for the large cards I'd be happy to Paypal you...
