I'm james, 29 and live in Liverpool. I always wanted to be a comedien and my dad told me the best place to practice was in the bath. My brother took the same advise however sadly he wanted to be an electrician.

Seriously I have always been into magic. I suppose I got intrested after watching stuff the white rabbit. I'm not brill and I get few chances to perform. However when I do perform I like to do comedy/ daft magic as well as some jaw dropping stuff. My inflences would include pen and teller, john lenehan, the mazing johnothan, john archer and pete mchaon.

When I do get the chance to perform I get 3 5 minute slots at my friends acoustic night. Other times are just close up. I prefer card tricks as they are so appealing to people. I don't have a stage name or do it for a living but it does grab me by the scruff of the neck sometimes. I love magic that goes wrong and causes mayhem (its easier that way)
