The Effect
Get this... Everyone digs a magician finding their card in spectacular ways. What about a card that visually impales itself on a tied shoelace? What if that SAME card matched the torn corner held by the spectator?

Cost
About 20 dollars

Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)
4 The slieghts used are not verry difficult, only you need good practice to make it 'work'.

Review

I was looking at the trailers of the card penetrating the TIED shoelace like there was a hinger force helping Dan Hauss. It is a wonderfull effect for the human eyes to see, cause it looks so real.

I started with the dvd and the layout was realy nice and fun to watch. I don't like the teaching of Dan Hauss that much cause he is not very serieuos about it. But maybe that's just a feeling. In overall he taught me the trick verry well and i coul'd do it the minute after watching the dvd. There is a setup required but if you got the right equipment on you, you can go to the toilett and get ready in 2 minutes. It's worth it, believe me.

There is a small proplem with the effect. With some shoes you can have the problem that 'nothing' happens to the spectator eyes. That's embarrasing. But with a moments of training you will get it right and it will work.

Overall
It's a fun and very original trick and it looks crazy to the spectators eyes. Don't go and perform it directly after you know how it's done cause 'believe me' it takes some practise. It's worth it, believe me.

I would give the effect 9/10
The way of teaching 5/10
