Just read this book. After reading the copyright warning I was rather glad I'd paid for my copy

At the moment I will not be attempting any of the projects as I don't really have any need for them but even so, I'm sure this is a book I will come back to and use at some point. It's a very educational book with clear explanations of what all those little electrical components do that you see on a circuit board and is easy to understand without any prior knowledge in electronics.

This isn't just a book for magicians. Once you understand what these components do and how to put them together there is all sorts of things you could make if you like that sort of thing. I aso couldn't believe just how cheap most of these parts are to buy. It could be a good little hobby messing about with this stuff.

I used to work as a training officer writing training procedures and NVQ assessments in a large factory and I was very impressed with the way this ebook has been put together. The way it takes components one at a time and explains what they do and how they can be used in simple language is spot on.

Thanks. Writing manuals is something I do. If anyone needs anything documenting, get in touch.

Copper PCB tape.

If anyone is doing any self building of electronic projects. Adhesive Copper PCB Tape is available. This saves using breadboard or copper clad board & it's much easier to work with when using the Island building method than glue & chunks of copper clad board.

I've just downloaded this from Lulu (they have an offer on at the moment - hoorah!). Now what I know about electronics you can write on the back of a stamp - in large font - with a thick pen. If this can teach me anything about rxxd sxxxxxxs and how to use them then I will forever worship Tomo. HOWEVER, the last time I even looked at an electrical component I went into a coma. If I manage to produce a successful effect then I'll let you know. If I can get something out of this book, then that will be the best advert it can have!!
