Replicant wrote:Thanks, Paul. I've been trying to resist but who knows how much longer that will last.
Replicant wrote:Well, I ordered this on Saturday, got the PDF on Sunday and received the deck this morning. This was very swift considering I wasn't expecting my order to be dealt with until Monday at the earliest. Thanks, Paul.
The PDF is great and currently stands at 95 pages of quality material. Three basic effects and seven more advanced effects, two of which come from a certain Dale Shrimpton. Additional material includes a substantial section on Svengali deck handling tips and subtleties and a really great chapter dedicated to Greg Arce, including a few of his effects and ideas. Great stuff.
The deck itself is made from very good quality card and does not resemble a deck of playing cards, which is good. My only reservation is that it has been Svengali'd up quite severely and it stands out a mile in my eyes. But perhaps this won't be noticed in performance if I watch my angles. In any case, it's not really an issue because I should be able to make up my own decks easily enough. Besides, I got this for the e-book, which is easily worth the tenner that I paid for it. Even if updates stop right now, it still represents good value.
Nice work, Paul. Also, Dale, Greg and everyone else that was involved in this.

They are pretty bad in this area when there is no strike, so this was most unusual. Take the extra time you have to have a good read through the e-book; I never knew a double blank Svengali deck could be so versatile.

Haha.
I was only joking. My post is completely irregular unless receving something from Amazon but I think they use couriers opposed to Royal Mail. Ordered a book about the same time last week from Prudhoe and that's not here yet either.

Ant,
Have you got your order yet?
Cheers,
