I liked the Kaktus wallet and as after 'burning', the card smelt nice and minty.

I wonder what fluid they use... :)

Hello Nik fancy seeing you here.!

Actually on the subject of this.

I purchased a few bottles of this stuff. Hasnt worked as well as it did on the demo, and it seems to evaporate rather quickly out of an opened bottle too.

Hmm maybe me... I loved the smell and had plans for it, but it seems like ive brought a watered down version of what I was demo'd lol..

Hmmm

Copy Cat?

Postby TheMagicMaker » Aug 21st, '10, 14:36

It seems this guy is copying Jim Paces HOT LEADS exactly... I wonder if Mr. Pace is aware of it. The only other person that seems to make this similar effect is Peter Austin who has totally redesigned how this effect is done. you should check out his website before you purchase this effect from anyone else. Mr. Austin also has 6 other amazing fire wallets that combine multiple fire effects into one wallet! Totally amazing...

Seems to gimmicky to me. Though I know Jim Pace as a decent one and a decent fire wallet, but I personally don't like fire wallets or flash paper because of the stories I've heard of even top guys getting 3rd degree burns or accidentally burning somebody else.

That's the beauty of Peter Austin's wallets, they use NO FLASH PAPER and reset instantly and can be done over and over again immediately! And they are SO EASY to use its just amazing... I have 3 of his wallets and I 'm so pleased with them. I have owned just about EVERY fire wallet out there and NO ONE comes even close to Peter's designs, innovations, workmanship and tremendous quality. Here is the best part, his wallets are CHEAPER than the other electronic fire wallets out there. The other guys charge $125 for their basic electronic fire wallet and give you an inferior product and nothing else. Peter not only gives you a better price ($95.00) but also a product that is 100 times better, and also gives you FREE accessories! It all came in a sweet metal box with extra batteries, extra wicks, a travel fuel bottle and more all included in the price... Seriously, no one else makes such a quality item and the others are like child's play compared to his... You can see all his wallets with pics and demo videos on Peter's website.

Respectfully,

i like the look of this. i use a fire wallet in my close up show and it gets a good response, apart from the time i did a function for the vegan society and they didn't like the fact the wallet was made of leather. other than that, these kind of effects always go down well with people.
