This small but enlightening tome, provides insight into the mad-genius of Jay Sankey one of the most frighteningly creative magical inventors of our time.
This Small book at first read and first glance do not seem to be at the level of some other of the more refined books of Magical Theory. Yet On further in-depth study you see the level of thought that Mr. Sankey has put into his essays. Each essay comes with a small qoute that is one way or another applies to his thoughts on magic; His essay range from use of words, enthusiasm, being natural, mind over matter...With some interesting thoughts on each and ever facet of magic. His essays are inspiring and thought provoking...Even the qoutes from various poets and thinkers (magical and not)
Such as this gem from the essay "Fewer Words, More Magic"
"Observe the wonderas as they occur around you. Don't claim them. Feel the artistry moving through and be silent" -Rumi
This small verse makes you think, how is my magic inspiring my audience, and how is my magic inspiring me? Sankey hasnt even shared his thoughts on the subject yet he has your mind already turning its cog wheels with whistles and bells going off. In this way Sankey creates a magical and effective expierence. His words are not dull and drab and each lecture leaves a significant impression upon your own magical theology.
There is nothing negative to be said about this book, I personally think of Sankey as a master in his own right, and although I no longer practice magic I can still be found reading this small tome of theory that I can apply to all areas of my life. Open this book and expierence your magical paradigms to be shattered as you explore a world that may have been previously veiled. Open your eyes to a new light that shines its radiant beams upon your work. Although there is not one correct path you must follow on your magical journey, It is quite nice to heed the words of wisdom this mystic sage can impart upon you.
