help with the thumb palm

Postby jameswild » Sep 11th, '09, 07:58

I'm working through bobos book (and the guide on talk magic) i can do a few of the plams (downs, classic, back thumb palm) but I'm having a few problems trying to get a coin into thumb palm position. I can't seem to get the coin into position for the clip, the coin seems to go in too low. just wondered if any of you had any tips for achieving this.

thanks in advance (this sleight is making me go crazy!!!)

sounds to me like your not holding the coin at the finger tips when you load it in.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

I usually find it easier to go into Downs then slide down into thumb, it's much easier to go into the former, and it's pretty easy to swap from one to the other with some practice

It's better technique. Thumb and swap are popular technology, But now a days swap is more powerful and secure. It's wide use.
