cheap place to buy bicycle decks online?

Postby Misanthropy » Oct 22nd, '09, 23:40

I need a pack of blue and a pack of red bicycle but magictricks.co.uk is charging £1.85 per pack plus £2.50 for the order so that makes it £6.70 for two packs of cards
I also tried amazon which has the packs cheaper but with the postage and packing its £10.86
I've always bought them online before but I think I might buy them in a shop from now on but I don't really know where to get them

Playing cards are the sort of thing you should be buying in bulk to make it worthwhile. Costco are by far the cheapest option, but if you're not a member or don't know someone that is, you could use Phil's website to find the cheapest dealer. But don't just order a deck or two; get a few while you're at it to maximise your value-for-money.

Freepost magic are actually the cheapest at the moment. I should probably order the list by price rather than alphabetically! It is not a precise science because sometimes p&p is a bit complicated, but it hopefully helps if you are just after one or two packs. I agree though, best to buy in bulk if you can...

and maybe its just me but I think it costs more to buy things online because of postage and packing since royal mail changed their policy a couple of years ago

Postage etc

Postby danata » Oct 26th, '09, 19:05

Since we opened we have paid for First Class postage for our customers! (It may not be for much longer though!) as we are going more towards Courier Service, because of the continued problems with Royal Mail which is affecting every small business in the country.

Full details are on my website's NEWSPAGE.

All good wishes

Am I going blind, or is Magicbox not listed on that site? Currently 1.99 a pack.
