Ghost Stories- Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson!

Am I alone in thinking that this is going to be awesome?

Andy Nyman (probably best known on this forum as Patrick from Dead Set  )and Jeremy Dyson from the League of Gentlemen have written a horror play. From what I've been hearing about it, it sounds like we'll need at least one spare pair of underpants!

Oh yes!

Thanks for bringing this to the forum's attention - have just booked 2 tickets for my wife's birthday at the Playhouse.

Really looking forward to it - what a meeting of minds!!

Got my tickets for this Saturday - front row..... What was I thinking? I've avoided all (non-Nyman approved!) reviews - I want to know as little as possible going in!

But it's apparently terrifying!

I promise not to spoil anything - providing I survive the experience on Saturday!

Just booked some tickets for a couple of weeks time. They're not close to the front but hopefully are quite close to the loo should I need to rush out for any reason.  :(

Just got back from the afternoon performance of Ghost Stories at the Liverpool Playhouse.

Brilliantly done - no spoilers, but you will jump and you will feel very uneasy at times.

Spoke to Andy Nyman after the show and got him to sign an old copy of lecture notes. Seemed like a very nice guy and was genuinely pleased that the show had made me jump a few times :-)

Might try and catch it down south when it transfers - I think a second viewing would pay dividends...

Holy C**p! I just saw this and it was awesome. Unfortunately my wife is definiftly not a fan of horror and I think is going to hold a grudge against me for taking her to this for a long time! There is a very real possibility that I'm going to have to sit through Pretty Woman for the third time to atone for my 'sins'!

If you haven't got tickets for this yet but you are thinking about it, go for it! It's a genuinely brilliant bit of theatre which you won't regret seeing.

Great fun. Not quite what I was expecting, but the weather doesn't turn on my say so.

You've confused it with Legally Blonde: the Musical again, haven't you?

I'm not sure I know what that is. Perhaps you could enlighten us, AJ?

I would have thought that the name would be all the explanation that was needed.

I can confirm (unfortunately) that it does contain both puppies and glitter though. (It also includes some actual dogs too  )
