Ignore them, never had any work from them, and the sales team are a pain in the backside at the best of times!!

There are much better ways to advertise available!!

I was pestered reletlessly at one time by one of their sales reps. It put me off even signing up to their free listing.

My experience is that you don't want to give them a reason to get on your back.

not worth dealing with, and his phone manner is abysmal.
Ive been pestered by the guy on and off for 2 years now. He clearly doesnt understand the meaning of the word no.

( If he rings again, i may see if he knows the meaning of the word f**k off)

I thought about signing up with them once but I heard so many bad things about them that I decided against it. It doesn't sound as if things have changed much. I do wonder though if there are any decent magic spcific agencies out there and if not it could be a little opening in the market waiting to be filled.

The guy reminds me of an american psycho that stalks the phone lines of your home for weeks.

I can only echo those above - I was harrassed and hounded for several weeks to take out a full paid listing. I then received one of the most abusive answerphone messages from a woman hoping my business would fail as I was "obviously not serious."

They then had the cheek to phone me up about 3 months later and deny that anyone would leave such a message.

As someone who has signed up for it I must say it was a massive mistake. after 4 months on it I have not recieved a single enquiry from the party pop advert.
I was also told that by keeping an eye on their messageboards one could send emails to potential customers who post requests but I found the message board totally useless

I've also had the PartyPop experience and they're a pain.

I suppose the test is to ask those who book you if they've heard of PartyPop. I'm sure that you'll get a resounding no.

Apart from a word of mouth recommendation, most bookers just Google.

This company and AllTimeFavorites are both a royal pain for the most part and the pay they expect you to accept STINKS.

Stick with an established booker, party planner, agencies. Set up a personal web site that has been professionally designed, worded, etc. in a manner that is simple, yet direct and to the point (a.k.a. NO FLASH or obnoxious music... there's no quicker way to loose work).

If you work with a professional Marketing Company and/or Image Maker you will go further, faster than any of these money grabbing web sites.

You can likewise see referral benefits by getting involved with the local ring, magic dealers, etc.

I was bothered by these guys, they were saying we can help you get to the top of google for "manchester magician" I was like really? I'm already the top so what can you do to help me, they came up with a load of cr+p and I told them where to go.

They then removed my free ad and said they obviously didn't think that I thought their service was worth it. And you know what? it's really not. I do not miss the calls from them.
