Description:
With forewords by Stephen Tucker, Jerry Sadowitz and a picture of Joe Pasquale (don't ask!) what more could you want? I'll tell you - you will want 13 original tricks or original routines based on existing ideas in each slim A5 sized book. You will want comedy, daft throw away lines, and stunning kicker endings. You will want strange and zany ideas like how to reveal a selected playing card from your trouser fly (don't ask, just trust me!) or make it appear in your mouth (I said not to ask!), you will want tricks and routines involving coins, cards, bags, rings, and many other simple items. You will want to know that these have been reworked over and over in professional magic presentations until the tricks almost work themselves, the difficult bits have been removed or eased considerably and all you have to do is perform. Finally, you will want to know that all these come from one of the UK's finest magicians. If this is what you want then yearn no more, Wayne Dobson shows his repertoire is a collection of unique and brilliant magic. What you won't be able to do is do it all like he does but that's not a problem. These gems will suit close up, stage, cabaret, strolling and street magic performers one way or another and they will get you the reputation you probably think you deserve!
I won't attempt to describe the individual tricks but I will say that my favourite is in here - An Englishman in New York - and it's not a trick as such, it's where a story is told and develops with the turn of cards - and goes right on through the deck. How you get to that stage is up to you but you could just do it by taking a deck out of your pocket and launching into the story.
Just to give you an idea, these are the trick titles:
