In the post WWII days my mentor (Kirkham) worked for Mr. B (Sr) and through that connection got to know Del fairly well, a friendship that would allow me a chance meeting in the mid-80s that would prove quite memorable... Del being one of two yesteryear "greats" my ties to Kirkham lent me... the other was Will Rock, the dynamo! The man was amazing in how he lived life.
Thanks for this posting, Del deserves far more recognition than he ever received in life.
