This is, in fact, not fully correct. Tom hasn’t been recently told about this. Apart from it being part of the Forum rules which he agreed to to obtain registration all of 40 posts ago last August, he was first advised on September 8th 2009 at
http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/sutra322563. ... ht=#322563 specifically about Forum rules then again on October 6th Review of Todd Karr's Kalanag DVD – no Review just a link and again on December 19th Review of Levent’s Ultimate Guide to the MISER‘S DREAM – again, no Review just a link. Other links were deleted at the time they arrived although there may be others which, due to time constraints, we haven't spotted.
It was only this week that Tom raised the issue in PMs to me and he was advised again of the Forum rules, notwithstanding he still suggested we allow such links on the basis that he gets a thousand visits a month to his site. This is, of course, of no relevance, TM gets over 2,000 a week so it’s clear that posting links is simply an attempt to poach visitors from a successful forum like TM. Despite all this, Tom was advised that his thoughts and input, plus any reviews posted here are always welcome but from the above it’s clear that he intends to contribute nothing of the sort, simply to post adverts for his own site and even now tries to attract visitors in his ‘farewell’ post.
