hello,
has anyone ever tried the paper butterfly effect using an electric fan concealed up the sleeve instead of paper fan? it would look a lot more spectacular! I'd like to try but i haven't been able to find the 'right sized' fan.

There was a guy at Blackpool floating a paper ball over his head with the aid of an electrical device. Could work.

I imagine the problem would be running a fan up your sleeve. You could get some sort of a pump in your jacket with a tube up your sleeve, and that could work.
But you would lose the grace and charm of a fan keeping the butterflys afloat. I suppose it depends on how you play it.

you could try using invisable thread from behind your ear to your thumb then make the butterfly and attach it to the invisable thread with some magician wax and do it like its levertating.
hope this helps
