Hi there. As some of you may know I am quite keen on collecting magic books and magazines. A year or two ago I completed my collection of Magigram magazine, and now I am hoping to do the same with Club 71 magazine. I promise (my wife!) I will stop after that due to space limitations, and also due to the excuse that I am only 'completing' collections I started in my youth.

Anyway, as well as trying to track down the missing magazines, I could do with some help from any TMers old enough to know. I am trying to work out the frequency of the magazine in its early days. I appear to have issues numbered 7-16, but they seem to be spread 1 in 1973, 3 in 1974, 1 in 1975, 2 in 1976, 1 in 1978, and then nothing until 1984! Does that sound plausible? There is a comment in the editorial of the first '84 issue that suggests there had been quite a gap since the last one. Can anyone remember? Or does anyone have a set to check against?

If this is correct, then I don't have _too many_ more to collect. But I'm still looking for issues 1-6, and then anything after Autumn 84 (so issue 17 onwards) until end of 88.
