Magic in Seattle?

Postby Klangster1971 » Jun 5th, '10, 08:06

I'm off to Seattle with work in July for a week and wondered if any of our US-based members knew of any magic/mentalism shows to be had around the time I'm there (24th-30th July).

I'm familiar with the Magic shope in Pike's Place Market so will definitely be paying them a visit but just wondered if anyone knew of any events happening over there during my stay.....?

cheers,

Sean

You might get some help from http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic35516.php, worth a try!

Forget magic, just go to Pikes place market. I used to love getting lost in there. Once you spend a little while watching them throw the fish, grab a bite to eat then wander over to the magic shop. They will point you in the right direction. Daryl the owner is not my favourite person in the world but his wife is one of the nicest people I've ever met.

They're both old hippies so if they invite you to dinner, be prepared for a rather "aromatic" dessert

Perhaps thats why I don't get along so well with him, that isn't my thing and he once tried to bully me into selling his extra cheap flimsy pretty much one shot fire wallets in my store. He was upset when I said no. Although I sold quite a few of his Alexander books for him, who knows maybe just too much of the aroma! *lol*
