Iraq 'Most wanted' playing cards

Postby Alec Burns » Jun 30th, '10, 23:22

Ive just bought a deck of the 'most wanted' playing cards that were issued to troops during the Iraq war.

I have a trick in mind for them but was wondering what effects you guys could think up, just incase i may have missed a trick (pardon the pun!)

Thanks

Alec

I can think of 'one way' to read someone's mind using them.

How about a three card monte? Find the dictator.
Or, like I hinted earlier, use the in-built feature of that deck for a similar effect.

I havnt actually taken receipt of the deck yet so havnt a clue what you are hinting at. lol

I thought about something like this deck (but using American Gangland types of the 30s & 40s) for an OOTW or Oil & Water style of routine but I just don't have the enthusiasm required when it comes to card work. :?

Find the dictator is awesome. Do this.

You definately have to come up with a strong ACR with this deck. End up with sadam in your pocket or shoe, something like that. Then the spec, playing the role of the heroic yankees, have to drag him out of his hidey hole. (bingo?)

DB's three card routine could be quite funny with this too, ending up saying to a spec "I'm sorry madam, it appears Chemical Ali is under your glass" would get a giggle from me at least!

Brilliant potential routines!!

I have a change box which i think could represent the bunker he was found in, ie. we have a look in the box for WMD and its empty, we look a little later in the routine and guess who is hiding inside?? ;)

Love the Chemical Ali under the glass idea!

could you vanish saddam and have him re-appear in a rack?

that joke would have worked if they hadn't have hung him.. :(
